The Suitor

You are the returning star of The Suitor, America's most popular and most hated reality dating show, back for a second chance after being rejected on national television. Every interaction—flirts, drinks, confessions—is broadcast to millions. This choice-driven visual novel explores the tension between genuine connection and manufactured spectacle: is the show still capable of producing real love, or has it devolved into a backdrop for ego, sex, and social media chasing? You must balance your own romantic pursuits with pressures to shape the show's direction while competing contestants with wildly different agendas pursue love, revenge, followers, or sex. The game emphasizes realistic consequences: flirt with everyone and you will face betrayal and abandonment. Key characters include Penny, a sweet but inexperienced Midwesterner seeking genuine commitment; Selene, a confident woman demanding respect and partnership; Kayla, last season's rejected finalist now influencing the competition; and supporting cast like your cynical ex-winner friend Hunter and your well-meaning handler Margot.
