Description
The Rub is a visual novel created in Ren'Py that pays homage to classic American sitcoms. You play as Nicholas "Nickels" Finch, a successful professional photographer whose life takes an unexpected turn when an old bottle mysteriously ends up in his bag during a photoshoot. Upon discovering it at home, he releases a powerful genie trapped within—a magically charged entity that now upends his everyday existence. The narrative unfolds episodically in short-form chapters, following Nickels as he navigates the chaos introduced by his supernatural new companion while managing his relationships with friends and work obligations. Featuring custom-built sets, adult humor, and playful situations, the story blends comedic mishaps with mature content across roughly 1500 images.
