The Pillagers of Raillore

In a future over one hundred years from now, humanity has awakened to supernatural abilities called Dunamis, fundamentally reshaping society and values. Those without powers are now treated as outsiders. The world has regressed into wastelands and ruins, with only self-sufficient communes like the medieval-styled city of Raillore thriving. The Regulatory Corps, a government military organization, maintains order—until mysterious individuals called 'Errors' begin appearing, possessing powers different from Dunamis. Feared as a disease, these Errors fall under the Corps' jurisdiction as society trembles. This kinetic novel follows multiple protagonists navigating a world of intrigue and danger. Reno, a powerful but emotionally reserved Snatcher, partners with Tilt, an energetic Dunamis user and rookie in the elite Mistilteinn Unit. A mysterious, cheerful woman on a hoverboard pursues her own agenda. Graydric, a lazy and dishonest Snatcher, lives with Fi, a tavern girl harboring a dangerous secret that makes her wanted by the authorities. Easla, a solitary Deeper who excavates ancient Relics, operates by her own rules. As odd incidents escalate, these characters must confront the changing world and their own complicated paths.
