Editorial Don't bother
The Nun draws near-unanimous frustration from its community, and the criticism lands squarely on the developer's monetisation model and content shortcuts rather than the renders themselves — which several reviewers actually acknowledge as decent or even lovely. The core complaints are that every girl shares the exact same poses and animations (making unique characters feel interchangeable), that meaningful content is locked behind a $70/month paywall that many consider egregiously overpriced compared to the broader adult-game market, and that the paid tier reportedly delivers only a couple of brief, unfinished scenes. There are also credible allegations of deleted negative reviews and artificial rating manipulation, which have soured the community's trust considerably. On the creative side, the work is hampered by a lack of character individuality — no distinct personalities, no branching stories, recycled animation loops across the cast — making it feel like an empty showcase of renders rather than a game. Free-tier players hit walls almost immediately and find little reason to continue. The renders themselves have defenders, but when the only praise is "nice art" and everything else draws sharp criticism, there is not much to recommend the experience as a whole.
