Editorial Has potential
The Fall of Magical Girl Citrine is a short transformation-focused adult game with multiple endings that land well for its niche audience. Players consistently praise the writing, character arcs, and CG artwork, with particular enthusiasm for the variety of endings and the permanent, canon body transformations that anchor the story. However, the game suffers from real friction: no in-game gallery forces replaying to see all content, a periodic-table puzzle lacks in-game hints and breaks pacing, and the map contains at least two documented soft-lock bugs (the tentacle-room lever becoming unresponsive, the slime-girl sprite blocking interaction). The current build is also missing background music for most of the game. These are not showstoppers—the game is beatable and most players do finish it—but they mark the experience as rough rather than polished. Community discussion is divided on content scope (some want more fetish variety, others prefer the focus), but the creative work itself has earned genuine appreciation.
