Editorial Meh
The Cradle of Nurtured Eggs is stuck in development limbo. The game was designed as a laid-back, narrative-light H-experience with minimal combat — intentionally slow-paced and easy — but players are deeply divided on whether that vision works. Some embrace it as a chill alternative to high-stress games; others see slow movement, weak enemy design, and glacial combat as unforgivable even in a porn game, pointing to titles like CelSector and Night of Revenge as proof that the genre can deliver both H-content and solid mechanics. The real problem is abandonment: the last public update was in May, with only cryptic hints of activity elsewhere. Community debate has grown heated, but beneath it is genuine disappointment—people were excited about this project and now fear the developer has moved on. Until the dev shows a clear sign of life and meaningful progress, this is hard to recommend.
