Editorial Has potential
The Chronicles of Lancelot II is a turn-based M/M RPG sequel that doubles down on campy gay fantasy with explicit content and improved pacing over the first game. Players consistently praise the character designs, NSFW scenes, and sheer volume of content—there's genuine heart in the worldbuilding and the developer's community engagement. However, the game has real structural problems that frustrate many: no map, no quest markers, vague objectives, clunky controls, and a difficulty spike in late-game areas that can lock players out of completion. The build is uneven—some players report it runs reasonably well on decent hardware, while others hit significant performance issues, crashes, and bugs (equipment glitches, quest-progression blockers, motion blur that can't be disabled). The creative work succeeds on its own terms (committed camp tone, strong visual style, solid combat when balanced), but the current state ranges from playable-but-tedious to genuinely broken depending on hardware and how far you progress.
