Editorial Has potential
Tension Release is a prototype game about seducing someone's girlfriend at a dinner party while keeping the boyfriend drunk—mechanically simple but conceptually sharp. The community appreciates the core idea and finds the 3D engine surprisingly efficient even on older hardware; most praise centers on potential rather than what's currently here. However, the build has real gaps: UI elements disappear off-screen on lower resolutions, progression bars occasionally freeze mid-animation, and action buttons fail to appear when they should, forcing restarts. The developer is actively patching issues, but these are repeated complaints across multiple players, not isolated incidents. If you enjoy the premise and don't mind waiting for fixes, it's worth following; if you need a stable, complete experience right now, wait for the next update.
