Editorial Meh
Super Courier trades depth for accessibility. Players consistently prefer the first game's longer story, more complex mechanics (money system, day tracking, multiple paths), and slower relationship progression—which felt more rewarding than this sequel's streamlined structure. The new production values are genuinely stronger: hired actors, longer and higher-quality sex scenes, and better video quality overall. However, the core gameplay loop is thin—essentially one-screen interaction with minimal branching—and the simplified design sacrifices the grind and challenge that made the original engaging. The developer acknowledges this tradeoff: this game cost a quarter of the previous one to produce, prioritizing video quality over mechanical depth. If you valued the first game's scope and pacing, this sequel will feel rushed by comparison, even if the raw sexual content is more polished.
