Editorial Has potential
Succubus Dance is a furry-adjacent adult RPG with a distinctive art style that draws immediate comparisons to Vesper — unsurprisingly, as the two share creative talent. Players who click with the aesthetic and the cast of anthro characters tend to be genuinely enthusiastic, praising the art, the varied kink content (exhibitionism, prostitution, and more), and the world-building around carnivore/herbivore social dynamics. The tone is ambitious enough that some players write lengthy, invested comments about the lore and character potential, which speaks well of the game's creative foundation. Content is skewed toward a female-protagonist experience with optional lesbian routes, though encounters with male NPCs — including older characters — do appear and are a sticking point for some players. As an early-access work, the game is clearly mid-development: story content stalls after the kidnapping subplot, several sidequests (notably "helping Lola") have no current resolution, and a meaningful chunk of the community is simply waiting for the next story beat. There are also scattered technical reports — a save-file permission error on some Windows installs, quest-journal UI glitches in browser play, and Joiplay compatibility issues — that hold it back from a clean bill of health. If you can tolerate an unfinished narrative and the furry aesthetic works for you, the existing content shows real promise; but players primarily chasing story closure should wait for a more complete build.
