Editorial Meh
Stripped of Title: Backlash arrived with genuine ambition — a full 3D open-world RPG with a female protagonist, decent graphics, atmospheric environments, and adult content woven into an actual story rather than bolted on as an afterthought. Players who connect with it praise the visuals, the surprisingly competent writing, and the novelty of a proper RPG framework around the erotic content. The H-scenes themselves draw mixed reactions: some find them well-animated and fitting; others note they feel short and underdeveloped, more like a tease than a payoff. The core gameplay problem is hard to ignore: the quest design leans heavily on fetch-and-delivery loops that wear out their welcome fast, navigation in the forest areas is disorienting, and first-person-only movement compounds the frustration. The bigger issue hanging over everything is abandonment. Across multiple languages, the community consensus is near-unanimous: the developer has gone silent, the game is unfinished, and players are running into progress-blocking bugs with no fixes coming. What's here represents a promising Episode 1 foundation — roughly two to five hours of content — but it ends abruptly and will not be continued. If you can accept a dead-end early chapter with rough edges, the creative bones are solid enough to be worth a look at a sale price; at full price, the unfinished state and halted development make it a hard sell.
