Editorial Meh
Staying at Home is an early-access visual novel built around a small cast of well-modelled women sharing a living space with the MC. The standout praise goes to the character art — reviewers single out the variety of body types and realistic proportions as a genuine plus — and the general setup is seen as promising. The writing has a warm tone, though several players flag broken English, spelling errors, and at least one notable logic bug (a blowjob the MC declined still gets referenced as having happened), so the script clearly needs an editing pass. Content-preference debates dominate the comment section: the game is openly developing NTR, sharing/swinging, and non-exclusive routes, all of which are flagged as optional, but some players who prefer vanilla or harem paths worry the avoidable-NTR structure will leave them with thin content — a concern the developer has been candid about rather than dismissive of. A full harem ending has been explicitly ruled out. Those whose tastes align with the game's direction seem genuinely engaged; those who don't are advised to temper expectations accordingly. On the technical side, the build is an early work-in-progress with isolated audio bugs (a looping BJ sound that has since been patched) and the logic error noted above. Development is active and the developer is responsive to feedback, but the game is plainly mid-development and content is still thin, especially for players who skip the NTR branch.
