Editorial Has potential
Star College presents an ambitious sci-fi VN with solid character work and engaging H-content, but the experience is severely undermined by persistent technical and localization problems. Save corruption, crashes during key scenes (notably Chapter 3's Sima confrontation), incomplete translations mid-scene (Italian dialogue appearing unexpectedly), and missing gallery animations are widespread complaints from recent players. The writing itself shows promise—varied character routes, bike-racing minigames with real mechanical depth, and branching choices that matter—but developer communication is nearly absent; changelogs have stopped, player feedback goes unanswered, and the game feels abandoned despite active monetization. For a v0.9 build, the lack of progress transparency and unresolved showstoppers make this a frustrating experience: you may restart repeatedly, hit hard crashes, and have no idea if fixes are coming. If the technical state stabilizes, the creative foundation is strong enough to be worth revisiting; right now, patience is required.
