Snoopware

Snoopware is a tech-repair simulator and visual novel hybrid. After losing your job, you take up computer repair work—initially for your aunt, eventually opening your own shop. The gameplay alternates between hands-on repair tasks (cleaning, troubleshooting hardware, organizing files) and desktop exploration, where you uncover personal details about your customers through their files, messages, and photos. The core tension revolves around what you choose to do with the secrets you discover: help someone, confront them, keep quiet, or exploit the information. The game uses nostalgic computer aesthetics and blends cozy repair mechanics with darker themes of privacy invasion, blackmail, and moral choice.
