Editorial Has potential
Sky Division surprises with a genuinely engaging story about enemies-to-lovers romance set against a backdrop of interplanetary war, moral ambiguity, and trauma. The narrative has real emotional weight: players consistently praise the character development, world-building, and thematic depth about indoctrination and choosing compassion over dogma. However, the execution is severely compromised. The game relies heavily on AI-generated art (backgrounds, characters, some sprites), creating jarring visual inconsistency—hyperrealistic backdrops clash with stylized furry character models. The English translation is clearly machine-generated, with frequent code-switching to Spanish mid-dialogue, typos in the code itself, and sprite layering errors. Some players hit crashes; others report missing images and placeholder text. The writing itself—the strongest element—carries the weight, but technical instability and the visual/translation mess undermine the experience. If you can tolerate rough presentation for a compelling narrative, it's worthwhile; if polish matters, wait for a major update.
