Shogun's Shadow: Ronin Tactics is a turn-based tactical strategy game set during Japan's Sengoku era. You command a disgraced squad of masterless samurai (ronin) as they navigate political intrigue and military conflict against rival clans. The game combines grid-based combat with a dynamic stance system—toggle between Offensive, Defensive, and Counter stances to outmaneuver opponents and control the flow of battle. Every positioning choice, from securing high ground to executing flanks, can determine victory or defeat. Beyond combat, you manage your squad's journey across a branching regional map, making moral choices about which villages to aid or exploit. These decisions shape how local lords view your group and directly alter mission objectives and the campaign's final outcome. Between battles, deepen bonds with your ronin crew through campfire interactions to unlock their personal stories and background details.
