Sexy Space Airlines is a free-to-play adult gacha management game with a serviceable idle-loop core: send ships on routes, earn currency, unlock characters, and view sexual content. The premise is straightforward and the anime art is functional. However, the game suffers from two decisive problems. First, on creative merits, it offers minimal depth—the loop is repetitive, story conversations are long-winded and poorly translated, and progression is artificially time-gated or paywall-locked in ways that feel empty rather than engaging. Second, and more critically, the build is fundamentally broken: multiple players report permanent soft-locks that occur easily during the tutorial itself (assigning the wrong character to a route creates an unrecoverable state), with no in-game reset option and no developer support to recover. Even after uninstalling, corrupted saves persist server-side. One player documented a complete, meticulous analysis of being trapped mid-tutorial with no path forward—a damning technical failure for a game that explicitly locks progression behind tutorial steps. The result is a game that is neither well-made as a creative work nor functional as a product.
