Editorial Don't bother
Sex with Ogre is a micro-length adult visual novel (3–5 minutes) with minimal story and shallow writing. Community consensus is sharply divided: a vocal minority of reviews are clearly fake, trolling, or sarcastic (comparing it to Half-Life, calling it a "masterpiece"), while genuine players report almost uniformly that the game is poorly written, narratively thin, and so brief that it barely qualifies as content. The premise—a woman lost in the woods encounters an ogre—is framed as non-consensual, with players noting the female character thanks her attacker; this is presented as narrative fact, not subtext. A few sincere reviews acknowledge it as a rough indie work with "multiple endings" and LGBTQ+ routes, but even those concede the story is underdeveloped and the execution is crude. The game runs without crashes, so the build is stable, but the creative work itself is underbaked.
