Critics counter that the narrative is thin (choices mostly cosmetic; only the final ending branch matters), gameplay is pure grinding (work → money → clothes → unlock next scene), and the whole experience collapses under technical problems: persistent bugs with save files becoming corrupted around day 60–61, broken stat displays, dialogue skip crashes, and broken location triggers force restarts mid-playthrough.
