Editorial Has potential
Set of Hands is a roguelike deck-builder with sexual progression mechanics, and it has real potential—but the current build struggles with both design clarity and technical stability. Players consistently praise the core concept and art, yet many hit a frustrating wall: the torch mechanic on harder zones feels punishing and at odds with the turn-based design; progression systems (corruption, stat caps, skin unlocks) lack explanation; and the lack of mid-run saves means progress evaporates on failure. Cheats exist as a workaround, but several stop working unpredictably. Once players push past the early grind and stack multipliers, the balance inverts and content becomes trivial—a sign the difficulty curve needs tuning. The sexual scenes themselves show ambition but rough execution (clipping, animation polish). Community opinion is divided: some see a rough gem worth returning to as it develops; others find the mechanical friction and RNG frustration too steep. For the audience interested in lewd roguelikes, this has bones worth watching, but expect an unfinished experience.
