Secret Toy is a management sim where you run an adult toy company, develop products, and test them on female employees via animated scenes. The art and animation are the game's genuine strength—character designs are appealing and the Live2D sequences are fluid and detailed, with voice acting. However, the gameplay loop is shallow and repetitive: grind money through part-time work, spend it on stat upgrades, develop products, repeat. Early progression is punishing (many hit bankruptcy), and unlocking all content demands tedious min-maxing or external tools. The story is almost nonexistent, there's no romance or relationship development with characters, and the few translation issues (machine quality) don't help. At 1–2 hours long with just 12 CG scenes, it's a visual treat that wears thin fast. Players seem split: those willing to accept it as pure eye candy for a sale price find it acceptable; those expecting either engaging mechanics or substantial adult content feel short-changed. The game isn't broken, but it prioritizes art over everything else—and even then, some feel the lingerie design is lazy.
