RomCom: Divergence is a Koikatsu-based visual novel that executes a genuinely clever premise: it's a parody of harem-game tropes that understands exactly what it's mocking, from grinding mechanics to overwrought romance to the male protagonist's own moral bankruptcy. Players consistently praise the sharp comedic writing—particularly the meta-humor, date-event parodies, and extreme facial expressions—and report laughing out loud repeatedly.
