Editorial Worth it
Returning to Mia is the sequel to Summer with Mia, picking up two years later as the protagonist reunites with the title character alongside a cast of new love interests. Reviewers consistently praise the sheer volume of content — hundreds of animations, numerous characters, and a long-running story — as well as polished 3D models and smooth scene transitions. The choice system draws particular appreciation for meaningfully branching the narrative toward multiple endings, and the X-ray/transparency button and boss-key feature are noted as fun quality-of-life additions. Several reviewers consider it a clear step up from its predecessor. On the downside, opinion is divided on the story's pacing: a vocal minority find the dialogue drawn out and the plot overcomplicated by certain subplots, while others are fully engaged. The absence of audio in sex scenes and the lack of a Chinese (or Russian) localisation are consistent minor complaints. A single isolated support issue and a handful of minor animation inconsistencies were noted but did not reflect a broader pattern. On balance, fans of the Western AVN style with a taste for long, harem-adjacent stories and abundant animated content will find solid value here, ideally on sale given the premium price.
