Editorial Meh
Remember SDT is a procedurally animated adult game clearly pitched as a spiritual successor to the classic Super Deep Throat. The community is sharply divided on execution: the procedural animation system and core mechanics draw genuine appreciation, and the developer is responsive to feedback. However, the character models are the elephant in the room. The vast majority of reviews fixate on the visual presentation—describing the models as uncanny, mismatched, low-resolution, poorly textured, and reminiscent of PS1-era graphics at best, nightmare fuel at worst. This isn't a matter of art style preference; reviewers consistently frame it as a technical shortcoming (asset-flip proportions, misaligned heads and bodies, poor shaders). Some players note the UI is unclear, performance stutters during customization, and sound design lacks polish. A few voices defend the game as underrated or commend the procedural concept, but they are drowned out by the volume of visual criticism. The game feels like a promising foundation buried under a graphics presentation that actively works against it.
