Editorial Has potential
Relics of Wayne: Greymoor is a point-and-click adventure with genuine charm: players consistently praise its 90s Broken Sword–inspired atmosphere, character art, voice acting (now present in v0.1.0), and puzzle design. The recent update brought meaningful polish—visual redesigns for both heroines, animation improvements, and audio—though some technical rough edges remain. Sound design needs work (footstep fidelity, character moaning authenticity), a few bugs have been reported (ESC menu lockup in gallery replay), and the slow player walk, while addressed via double-click teleport, prompted multiple requests for a sprint toggle. The biggest creative friction is the protagonist's internal monologue, which some players find grating enough to quit; this is a genuine stylistic divide within the community, not universal praise. That said, the core game—puzzles, art, atmosphere, and sexual content that lands for its audience—resonates strongly with fans of retro adventure games willing to engage with its mechanics and tone.
