Editorial Has potential
Realms of Transformation is an ambitious corruption/transformation RPG with genuine creative appeal—its core concept of gradual, multi-stage visual character corruption lands solidly for its niche audience, and the writing shows real care for storytelling. However, the project is effectively stalled: the developer announced indefinite hiatus in the most recent update, citing burnout, life pressures, and the realization they'd overscoped the work. v0.1 remains the only playable release, and while players who tried it appreciated the direction and story potential, the build itself is rough—progression is opaque (easy to miss required events), maps feel bloated and empty, character art inconsistencies are noticeable, and several bugs break the intended sequence. The community consensus is cautiously hopeful but realistic: people enjoy what's there and respect the dev's honesty about mental health, but the project is dormant and the developer has explicitly moved on to smaller work.
