Editorial Has potential
Project Werewulf is a functional adult action-horror game that delivers genuine gameplay alongside its sexual content—a rarity in the genre. Reviews are sharply divided: enthusiasts praise its 15–20 hour campaign, competent third-person shooter mechanics (reminiscent of Resident Evil), atmospheric design, and extensive high-quality animations in safe-zone hubs. They value it as a complete game, not a visual novel, and note regular developer updates. However, a substantial minority report persistent technical friction: clunky weapon-handling (weapons auto-unequip during scripted actions), sluggish aiming animations, poor melee combat, brain-dead enemy AI, and occasional crashes. The build feels unpolished in places despite its ambitions, and at €28 many critics argue it's overpriced for the current state. The gameplay loop—combat missions interspersed with consensual encounters in hubs—is solid but repetitive. Visually competent (good graphics, DLSS support), narratively serviceable (b-movie horror tone), and mechanically functional enough to finish, yet held back by rough edges that accumulate into frustration during longer sessions.
