Prison Escape Survival RPG is the latest from developer Crotch, and the community consensus is clear on two fronts: the CG art is genuinely impressive and the survival RPG gameplay loop is considered one of the better entries in a thin sub-genre, drawing comparisons to the dev's earlier well-regarded work. Several reviewers call it a gem and praise its craft. However, scat content is described by multiple reviewers as occupying a very large share of the gallery — one puts it at roughly 80% — and this is the dominant conversation in the comments. Players who enjoy that content seem enthusiastic; those who don't are walking away despite admiring the artwork.
