Editorial Has potential
Phone Life is a phone-interface dating sim with AI-generated characters and dialogue. The creative premise is solid—players are engaging with the core concept and finding the character interactions genuinely appealing—but the current build has a critical flaw that makes it nearly unplayable: the UI is far too small, especially on Android, forcing players to strain their eyes or abandon the game entirely. Several players report being unable to read text or navigate saves. The developer has acknowledged this as a priority, which is encouraging, but right now the game is essentially blocked by poor scaling. Once that's fixed, the design and writing appear competent enough for its audience, though progression mechanics (stat grinding to unlock chat options) feel grindy and some artwork appears AI-generated without full polish.
