Otome Kishi: Hold Me Right Now

Editorial Has potential

Otome Kishi: Hold Me Right Now is a multi-route visual novel centered on a protagonist who disguises himself as a girl to attend an all-girls school—a premise that divides the room. Players drawn to the trap/crossdressing angle and character-driven storytelling report genuine enjoyment and find the narrative engaging; those indifferent or resistant to the crossdressing setup are unlikely to connect. The fan translation itself is functional but incomplete: script text is translated, but the UI remains in Japanese and word wrapping is absent, requiring some manual adjustment to read comfortably. The game runs on most systems via AdvHD.exe (though Linux/Steam Deck users report needing Proton tweaks and font workarounds), and community sentiment is warm toward the translation effort despite its technical limitations.
