Opportunity is a well-written linear visual novel that finds real heart in its portrait of a struggling single mother exploring sexuality and financial independence. However, the game's linear structure (false choices don't branch the story), slow pacing heavy on dialogue, lack of animations, and missing gallery are persistent complaints that undercut the experience, especially at $15.
