Oath of Fallen

Vesperine is a 2D adventure game following its eponymous female protagonist, the adopted daughter of a hunter in a remote village. The world is ruled by the rigid Cult of Light, which tolerates no deviation from its dogmatic vision of good. When mysterious forces awaken and summon demons and corruption into the land, Vesperine is thrust into a brutal conflict where her principles will be tested by an unforgiving reality. The game emphasizes player choice and consequence: decisions made during exploration, investigation, and quests shape branching storylines and determine which of several character routes—Virgin, Normal, or Slutty—become available. Combat is turn-based with skill trees, equipment, and a crafting system; exploration involves dungeons with persistent state, randomized rewards, and puzzle mechanics. A custom demonic language system allows players to gradually decipher hidden lore and alternative solutions.
