NTR Gambling is a phone-based visual novel with genuine ambition: multiple branching corruption paths, natural character interactions, and thoughtful NTR/NTS routing. The setup and writing earn consistent praise. However, the game is severely undercooked. At version 0.3, it functions more as a proof-of-concept than a playable experience—players report finishing in 45 minutes with minimal payoff, heavy reliance on text over visuals, and a frustrating money-grinding minigame that adds nothing. The core problem is pacing: the developer is juggling multiple character routes simultaneously, resulting in sparse content spread across months. While the foundation shows real promise, current updates deliver too little substance to maintain interest. Expect a long wait for the game to reach critical mass.
