New Start is an early-access NTR visual novel that has generated genuine excitement for its distinctive art style — reviewers repeatedly single out the character designs and overall visual presentation as a real strength. The premise follows a classic slow-burn netorare setup, and while a vocal portion of the community dismisses that as well-trodden territory, others are enthusiastic enough to call it a potential standout in the genre. The developer has been transparent about the story still being shaped in development, including openly admitting that a fully NTR-free route hasn't been conceived yet, which has cooled interest for players who need that option. On the build side, this is unambiguously early-stage work: reviewers note there is essentially one H-scene and a handful of images in the current version, save/skip/rollback functionality has been criticised, and the community is largely waiting on the next update. The creative foundation — art, tone, character hooks — earns real goodwill, but there is very little content to play right now.
