New Antioch

Editorial Has potential

New Antioch is an ambitious fantasy VN with strong writing, excellent renders, and compelling characters that has earned genuine enthusiasm from its community. The world-building mixes futuristic and medieval elements effectively, the narrative feels fresh compared to genre standbys, and players consistently praise the quality of both prose and character work—one reviewer called it writing "into quality history books." However, the project appears to be abandoned: despite reaching version 0.6 with only three episodes reportedly left before completion, the developer has gone silent for months with no updates or communication. For those who can enjoy an incomplete experience, what exists is genuinely worthwhile; for others waiting for a finished game, this is a cautionary case of a promising work left unfinished.
