My Wife Mariko

A visual novel about Matsuda Wataru, a successful corporate lawyer who reconnects with Mariko, his unattainable high school crush, at an Omiai (traditional Japanese matchmaking meeting) arranged by his parents. Years have passed since their school days, and Wataru has built a prestigious career—but at the cost of his youth and personal fulfillment. When he discovers Mariko is among the candidates, he sees an unexpected second chance to confess the feelings he buried decades ago and explore what might have been. The game explores themes of regret, second chances, and adult romance as Wataru navigates both his professional composure and raw emotional vulnerability in pursuit of closure—or perhaps something more.
