Mutant College blends superhero fantasy with adult content and wraps it in a sandbox RPG with meaningful player choice. The story is genuinely engaging—reviewers consistently praise the narrative, character depth, and world-building as a cut above the typical AVN fare—and the UI is notably polished. The character designs and animations are well-regarded, though some feel animations could be more varied. The core problem is execution: the game is in active early access with a pattern of progression-blocking bugs (quest triggers that fail if you act out of order, dialogue misgendering, broken dialogue loops, dialogue that jumps ahead without proper context, even scenes reverting to Spanish). Alongside this, grinding becomes tedious in the mid-game, the English is often garbled (consistent misgendering of female characters as "he," speaker labels mixed up), and the tutorial fails to explain core mechanics. The developer is responsive and improving the art quality, but the foundation needs fixing before adding more content. If you value story and character, and can tolerate rough edges, it's worth trying; just expect to hit walls.
