Mother's Rules

Placeholder is a dystopian sci-fi RPG set in a city where mandatory brain chips control citizens' behavior and rank them by achievement levels. The protagonist, a top student and council president, discovers that the inventor of these chips has mysteriously vanished along with his research team, threatening societal collapse as existing chips begin to fail. To prevent catastrophe, the protagonist and their mother must venture into a dangerous virtual world connected to the lab to find the missing scientist, uncover the truth behind the chip technology, and navigate corruption, external threats, and the chips' growing influence on their own minds.
