Editorial Has potential
Monster Girl Assault is a Plants vs. Zombies-style tower defense with adult content that has cultivated a dedicated audience around its core gameplay loop and escalating difficulty. Players consistently praise the strategic depth, animation quality, and challenge, with most complaints focused on specific hard-spikes (particularly Stage 3-4's mandatory parkour minigame) rather than the game's fundamentals. The creative direction is solid and mostly lands for its niche; the real issue is the build itself—frequent crashes on boss fights, save-corruption bugs, UI lag on the main menu, and progression-blocking glitches (stuck stages, missing gallery animations, broken shop purchases) recur across the review set. Recent updates have patched some issues, but the current public version (0.3.2) remains visibly mid-development, with Act 3 content incomplete and cheats locked behind paywalls.
