Lusty Chapters is a collection of short visual-novel vignettes with polished character art and CG that clearly appeals to its audience—players consistently praise the visuals and appreciate the variety of scenes. However, the game is sharply divided by its minigames: a large portion of reviews vehemently complain that intrusive, mandatory click-puzzles (matching dots, dragging matchsticks, tapping hot spots) interrupt the narrative flow and feel tedious rather than gamelike.
