Lust Night is a short horror-themed adult visual novel with a handful of animated sex scenes—roughly five total, each lasting only seconds. The creative concept of "Resident Evil meets sex game" has some merit, and the character animations themselves are technically competent, but the execution falls apart almost immediately. The story is incoherent and poorly paced; characters behave illogically, dialogue is stilted and often AI-generated (which reviewers found immersion-breaking), and the writing lacks any real tension or setup. Most damning: the game is roughly an hour long even with reading, and offers minimal branching—choices rarely matter, the few adult scenes are looped clips that auto-skip, and minigames are unskippable. Technical issues compound the problem: settings reset on each launch, some puzzle states fail to register, save-during-timed-choices causes glitches, and there's no text backlog. The game feels like an early prototype rushed to market. Even at a discount price, reviewers consistently advise skipping it; the creative core is too thin and broken to justify the time.
