Editorial Don't bother
Lust Night presents a horror-themed visual novel with five sex scenes, but delivers little substance in either category. The narrative—a haunted mansion setup—collapses into incoherence within an hour of play, with rushed writing that fails to establish atmosphere or stakes. Sex scenes are brief, non-interactive, and already visible in the store previews; they loop for ~5 seconds then end. Players consistently report broken settings that reset on each launch, unskippable tedious minigames, timed choices that crash the save system, progression blockers (the hammer-and-nail puzzle), and no backlog function—standard for visual novels but this implementation is crude. Voice acting is AI and widely mocked. The game is a resource hog for its visual quality and can be 100%-completed in under 1.5 hours. A small minority enjoyed the horror-sex blend or found it arousing, but the dominant consensus is that the game is unfinished, poorly written, and not worth its asking price even at steep discount.
