Editorial Don't bother
LUST Company is a short sci-fi visual novel (90 minutes to 2 hours) with light minigames and branching dialogue choices. The consensus is brutally clear: it's a brief, linear story dressed up with a space-pirate premise that mostly exists as connective tissue between sexual scenes. Character art and animations are competent—some reviewers praise the renders as 'decent' and 'hot'—but the narrative is thin, choices feel illusory (only a handful meaningfully affect outcomes), and the minigames (circuit puzzles, object hunts, memory games) are trivial padding. The cast is all-female crew and alien antagonists; several scenes involve non-consensual framing. Many reviewers feel the asking price (€6+) is unjustified for the playtime and shallow mechanics; others who grabbed it on discount found it acceptable filler. A real technical issue: Linux/SteamDeck support is absent, and at least one scene room fails to load, blocking 100% completion. The game knows what it is—erotic VN with minimal gameplay—but execution is hollow: forced pacing, weak dialogue, and a story that nonsensically throws characters into sex scenes mid-combat.
