LUSE presents an intriguing premise — a succubus-themed adult VN built in RPG Maker — but the execution is held back by both creative and technical issues. On the creative side, the game relies heavily on RPG Maker's default assets and barebone structure, which undercuts immersion; multiple players note that the minigames lack tutorials and feel either too punishing or unclear in their win/loss branching logic, leaving some uncertain whether they're meant to "play to win" or "lose for content." On the technical front, this build is rough: day-three progression is broken for many (black screens, softlocks, inability to sleep to advance), NPCs retain collision/interaction hitboxes after events complete, and specific scenes (gym, brotherhood hideout) frequently fail to load or lock players out of interaction. The foundation has potential — character writing shows promise, and there is genuine interest in the premise — but the current 0.3 release needs substantial bug fixes and clearer tutorialization before it's consistently playable.
