Love Fairy is a match-3 puzzle game with AI-generated CG and dating sim mechanics—a Huniepop-like for players who enjoy that blend. The creative premise is sound, and players who get it running report finding it addictive and well-suited to its audience. However, the build is severely broken: save files do not persist (players lose hours of progress), key upgrade systems are non-functional (bonuses don't work, hourglass upgrades fail), and the Windows executable triggers malware warnings and appears to bundle insecure external processes, forcing some players to source it elsewhere. Linux support is incomplete and requires heavy workarounds. The game's core design lands for its niche, but the current state is so unstable—compounded by tutorial loops, missing audio on some systems, and widespread technical failures—that most players cannot reach the content reliably.
