Editorial Don't bother
Live Empire 2 is a streamer-management simulator that has sharply divided its player base. The game's core loop—selecting one of three idol streamers, training stats (eloquence, beauty, talent), managing broadcast contracts, and dating to unlock h-scenes—is functional but severely hampered by tedious padding and technical problems. Most damning is the intentional design to waste player time: one-minute-long unskippable streams (five-second load times on each end), stamina caps that force grinding, and absurdly high achievement numbers (500 streams) make the experience feel deliberately stretched to prevent refunds. Many report critical bugs—a 50/50 chance that ending a stream freezes the game, forcing save resets—alongside the streams themselves being unskippable and often in Chinese without working volume controls. The art is serviceable but low-effort; h-scenes are minimal (one per character, with basic animation loops). Compared to the first game, this sequel is a steep downgrade in both content and gameplay respect. A handful of players who engaged with the grinding and Chinese community have given it 5 stars, but the overwhelming consensus among English and Russian players is that the game cynically prioritizes time-padding over fun and is not worth the price even at 80% discount.
