Life on Mars is a sci-fi visual novel set in the 26th century, following a senator's assistant on Mars during a pivotal era of independence and cultural identity for the red planet. The protagonist's boss is running for Chancellor on a platform to end polygamy, forcing the player to make choices that reveal the main character's true values and desires. Through branching dialogue and decision-making, the story unfolds across multiple distinct routes—from the gentlemanly path to more dominant or submissive personas—each leading to different romantic and social outcomes. The game explores themes of power dynamics, relationships, and personal conviction as the protagonist navigates political intrigue and intimate entanglements.
