Editorial Meh
Lancia di Luna has an engaging premise and framework that players find promising, but the current build is severely hampered by bugs and incomplete systems. The most damaging issues include navigation breaking (being redirected to the brothel instead of intended locations), placeholder content marked with placeholder text, and confusing progression systems where basic survival—like earning money for rent—is nearly impossible without immediately turning to sex work. The brothel minigames, while not boring, are long enough that restarting due to bugs becomes a genuine pain point. On the creative side, the game shows potential: the narrative voice (second-person, D&D-inspired) works for some but alienates others; character corruption arcs are underdeveloped (some feel the protagonist falls too quickly); and aesthetic choices (heavy reliance on static images from Koikatsu models) divide opinion. The game is clearly very early in development—placeholder systems, missing job opportunities, and unclear stat-raising mechanics signal that much remains unfinished. For those willing to tolerate a rough alpha, the bones are here; everyone else should wait.
