Lakeside Lustful Stories

Editorial Has potential

Lakeside Lustful Stories is an engaging visual novel with strong character writing, an interesting plot setup, and well-executed sex animations that impressed players who expected less polish. The story has narrative depth—dialogue, pacing, and world-building that stand out in the genre—though some note plot-holes and wish for slower romance progression or "refuse" options during encounters. The real issue is abandonment: the game hasn't been updated since 2022, and despite occasional developer replies claiming active work, no release date has materialized for over two years. Many players are uncertain whether the project is truly alive or stalled, which makes recommending an unfinished work difficult. If you can enjoy the substantial first chapter as-is, it's worth the time; if you're waiting for the promised next update, temper your expectations.
