La Relance

LA RELANCE is a five-card draw poker game where you compete against an AI opponent who learns from your betting patterns and play style. Each hand begins with antes, followed by two betting rounds with options to check, raise, re-raise, call, or fold. The unique mechanic involves garment removal: when your opponent runs out of chips, she sells clothing for 25 chips to continue betting; when you run out, you can buy garments back from her to receive 25 chips. Victory comes when she has nothing left; defeat occurs if you cannot pay while she is fully dressed. The AI opponent analyzes observable information—cards drawn, betting frequency, fold patterns—to estimate odds and adjust strategy, becoming more precise and bluffing more aggressively as the game progresses. The demo features Irina Vale, a 31-year-old bar manager, with the full version offering additional opponents with unique art and personalities.
