Description
An HTML browser-based quiz tool designed as an educational resource for Japanese middle school earth science curriculum. The material covers fundamental topics in astronomy and planetary science: Earth's rotation and revolution, celestial daily and annual motion, solar altitude at culmination, seasonal changes, lunar phases, solar and lunar eclipses, planetary visibility (Venus and Mars), and stellar/galactic concepts. It includes problem sets requiring analysis of celestial positions and relationships—such as culmination times, latitude and polar star altitude, lunar position, and planetary retrograde motion. The tool features explanations after each answer, allowing repetitive learning through a game-like interface. Accompanying classroom handouts and answer keys enable broad application in classroom instruction, self-study, test preparation, and foundational exam review.
